The classic wet fly was invented in the middle of the 17th century. The fly is very effective in early spring, when the rivers have just been freed from ice and the first insects are ready for metamorphosis. Imitates a mayfly nymph rising to the surface. Tied on a large hook, can be used as a streamer.

Отличная мушка! На Северском Донце - лучшая по голавлю и краснопёрке, часто попадается и небольшой окунь. С крючком лучше не мельчить - даже мелочь отлично ловится и на 10 и на 8, причем заглатывает нередко очень глубоко и глоточными зубами просто уничтожает мушку - поэтому расход большой. Самая хрупкая часть - крылья. По краснопёрке отличной заменой Мач Брауну служит Софт Хакл, но по голавлю и окуню работает значительно хуже.
Очень полезная мушка! Без нее на Днепр не выходить
Мушка просто супер!!! Сегодня ловил на Днепре красноперку, одна за другой!!! Я такой уловистой еще не видел!!! Конечно лучше крючок № 16
