The method of fishing can be very effective, in which the bait lies on the grass hanging over the water and gently pulled into the water, thereby depicting the natural fall of the insect into the water as realistically as possible. An easier way is to feed the bait under the shore with every gust of wind from the shore, while the angler is better off in the water behind the standing fish. The most favorable season for grasshopper fishing is from late July to mid-September.
