Realistic imitation of freshwater crayfish. Crayfish are desirable writing for river predators, especially during the molting period, when the new armor is still soft. The presence of a weighting eye fixed on top of the shank of the hook, gives the front sight in the water the position of the hook point up, thereby reducing the number of hooks.
