Fly, a typical representative of the Soft Hackles family. Flies of this type were invented in the middle of the 19th century in England. The main features of this fly are the absence of a tail and legs wound like a “collar” from a soft feather, in this case partridge. Flies of the "Soft Hackles" family are fantasy flies, however, there is an opinion that these flies can imitate stonefly nymphs or emerging pupae of caddisflies. The most catchy fly is in the spring months.
