The fly is made from the beards of the tail feather of a pheasant, from which its name comes from, Pheasant Tail is translated as a pheasant tail. The fly is not an exact copy of any insect, but its silhouette is similar to the larvae of some species of mayflies. The fly has proven itself well, you can catch it for the entire fishing season. This fly successfully catches such, it seemed bi "not fly-fishing" fish, like crucian carp, carp.
