Excellent quality of coloring allows to use this material both in fresh, and in salty water.
The length of the fibers is from 5 to 10 cm. One ring per pack.
The main factor determining the preference for this fur in the manufacture of the wing of salmon flies are:
- softness, slight waviness and mobility of the pile, allowing to maintain the volume and transparency of the wing in the water;
- the comparative absence of difference between the undercoat and the main awn, which makes it possible to use this material with practically no waste.
