VIRTUAL NYMPH Nymph Skin - Green

Elastic, thick enough polymer bands to create realistic-looking segmented nymph bodies, as well as simulating sheaths of wing buds. The most commonly used material by the famous realistic knitter (Thornton).

The material is available in two sizes - 3 mm and 4.3 mm, optimized for use with hook sizes 12-18 and 6-10 respectively. Before fixing on the forend, it is recommended to cut the edge of the film at an angle (see photo). When winding, the overlap of turns is about 50%.

To obtain a more pronounced segmentation before winding, it is recommended to pre-paint one of the ends of the film with a waterproof marker. The volume of the wound body is regulated by the degree of tension of the strip of material during winding.
