The softness of the material, in addition to the strong natural attractant of cheese, allows you to catch trout even with minimal animation. A motionless bait lying on the bottom is no less attractive to passive fish than a baited larva in the water column during an active bite. The compact three-dimensional shape gives the bait additional weight and excellent casting characteristics, thus allowing you to cast the bait as far as possible with minimal weighting.
