Soft web foil with iridescent sheen. It is a compressed synthetic fiber that imitates the chitinous cover of insects. An excellent material for making the backs of Czech nymphs, amphipods, etc. Also used as wing material for dry flies. Very well suited for imitating the wings of flies tied in the style of "Downwing" (the wing lies on the body of the fly).
